It can be a decent gift, maybe a gift voucher, or something will want to use. What matters is to hold a contest that’s interesting. Move away from the usual photo contests that are a dime a dozen. Try something different that will intrigue people.

For example, if you are a food blogger, a relevant contest could be an interesting food quiz with questions related to the origin of various food items, such as ice cream, chocolate etc.

Make sure you give your followers honest feedback

Social media is more about interaction than marketing. If you want people to view your blog and give you feedback on your views and content, it is important that you do the same for others as well. Not filling your meta description fields- If you are adamant on failing in this blogging world, leave the meta-description fields, keyword fields as well as Meta title fields in your blog post blank. Something similar can be done in the world of freelancing as well. If you trust your abilities, offer your potential clients a free sample to try out your services. If you are good enough, the client will come to you. Offering something free is just another way of building your brand and luring customers.

Blog regularly- The importance of blogging cannot be stressed more. Blogging can help in search engine optimization, it can help drive traffic to your personal brand online, and it can virtually multiply your online income. Thus, in order to succeed in the world of freelancing, make sure you blog regularly. If you don’t trust your writing skills, outsource the task to professionals. But don’t make it an excuse for not having a blog.
